Working at the National Museum of American Jewish History has been a really great experience. Everyday there is something new to do. While some of the tasks can be a bit tedious, others are very interesting. Today, the department I work in had a business lunch with the director of the Barnes Museum’s Marketing and Public Relations Department. The meeting was so that the Barnes Museum could get a better perspective of what to expect in coming months, as they prepare to open their new home on the Parkway. I got to hear about the events that led to the opening of the museum, and the tasks that went into the event. I gained a a better understanding of the world of PR and a free lunch to top it off.
