A commission is a great accomplishment for an intern. How did you do in selling the ad space to the local bars you went to? Which bars/lounges did you go to? Just curious but what steps do you go through to sell ad space?

From a buying standpoint however (my internship) I can kind of see how it can be hard. Sometimes other sellers offer something a bit more appealing. I believe it is all in the approach. I do not know how you sell, but from looking at seller’s proposals you have to believe in the sale. Present it in a way that shows that if you were on the other side of the table you would purchase the space yourself. Present in a way that stands out from the rest. That is what resonates with the buyer. Good luck! Hope things continue to go well.
