The work that you did during your time as an intern seemed so informative and each day was a new and exciting day. Talking about how preparation and planning is key in creating successful shows and events is extremely important. In the world of production, a hundred things might go wrong on a shoot but if you are able to stay calm and stick to the preparation that you started with, it will make the show/event/shoot go even smoother. Also, the fact about the 76ers making multiple time cards with different outcomes, I did not know this! That is such an interesting fact!

This sounds like an incredible experience. I think it’s great that you got to work on a number of different projects. It seems like you got to see promotional development from pre-production to post-production (which is so satisfying). The creative process certainly takes a lot of planning. I think it’s fun to see what goes on behind the scenes, you would never know how much work goes into an event otherwise! I really liked learning about NBC10 & Telemundo 62 partnering with other companies, and the value of creative collaboration. Thanks for sharing your experience, it sounds like you had an awesome summer!

It has been a personal dream to land an internship at NBC10. It was wonderful to hear about your experiences in the Creative Services Department. The world of media and communications can be intimidating as there are so many factors involved. However, it seems you have taken that head on through this amazing experience at NBC10, Telemundo 62, and NBC Regional Sports Network. The writing of promotional copy must have been invaluable real world work that will prepare you for the journey ahead. The main theme of your reflection seems to be planning and coordination. Two essential skills in the advertising industry. Best of luck on your endeavors!

Having NBC, Telemundo, and NBC sports all together does sound like a lot of different areas with completely different goals and tasks, so being able to manage them all together sounds like no small feat. Growing up, I always wanted to work somewhere in Philly sports, so your describing working with NBC Sports Philadelphia sounds very interesting. Very interesting to hear about your experience!

This sounds like such an impressive and busy internship! It was really interesting to learn about all the tasks that are done by NBC10’s creative department. It’s great that you were able to gain experience in a wide variety of skills, whether it be copy, branding, art direction, production, and even research. Getting a wide variety of experiences in an internship is really important, so that you can get an idea of what you like and what you want to do in the future. I’m glad you enjoyed your time this summer!
