It is one of my biggest regrets that I did not join clubs or apply to internships before my junior year. College is about learning and pushing yourself to be the best you possible. My advice to all younger students is to get involved as soon as possible.

I completely agree and experienced the same thing at my internship. Asking questions is so important and can be proactive and even help prevent mistakes. Throughout college, I have also been able to complete a few internships, and am always nervous before beginning. The whole point of doing internships is to learn more about the field you want to go into after graduation. So, I agree that it is very important to talk to the people around you and ask questions! I feel that without any experience in the industry, it would be very hard to just jump right into a full-time job. Being proactive during your internship does not only help the company/agency, but it mostly helps yourself grow.
