It was great to hear about your experience at The Trauma Survivors Foundation. My first internship was at a nonprofit and so I totally understand having to learn and develop a new type of voice and being mindful of the sensitivities that may arise as you communicate. I especially resonated with your point about pursuing nonprofit work. Often times it is brushed to the side because of how laborous it is, but it is so rewarding, valuable, and impactful.
