Firstly, I am so sorry for your loss. I loved reading your post from beginning to end and I would have to agree… your Grandma is definitely super proud of you. I really relate to you because, I also experienced a tragedy right before I started my internship (2020 man…). The thought of all the work that would be on my table this semester seemed almost impossible back then. I am so proud of you for not quitting and giving it your all the whole way through! I know you’ll continue to do amazing things.

I understand your point that life tends to keep you on your toes when you’re comfortable. I’ve experienced this a few times during the pandemic. Although this is so tough, what matters is that you persevered and took on the opportunity despite all that you were going through at the time. I’m so happy that your internship ended up working out so well. It seems like you got so much great experience from it and that it was so worth it. Good luck with the rest of your internship and I’m looking forward to seeing all of the great things that you do in the advertising industry!
