I can only imagine the career struggles being a student athlete carries. But, employers should understand what it means to be an athlete, especially in college. I couldn’t imagine waking up at 6:00am on a Friday or Saturday to go to practice. No way! Employers can and will value this work ethic, attitude, and the dedication you have.
