Hi Abigail! It’s so awesome to hear that this internship has given you the opportunity to grow professionally in an area you weren’t as familiar with. I really liked the advice you gave to others who are looking for an internship. I think as students we can all agree finding an internship takes a lot of patience and effort!

Hi Abigail! It’s really cool that you got the experience two different internships, a few students especially at a younger age usually don’t start till their Junior or Senior year of college! So its good to have that experience on your resume. I also applied to so many internships and got declined from a lot of them and when I finally got one I was relieved/was about ready to give up, so I completely get how being denied can be nerve racking but not giving up is key! I also was doing a lot of social media posting for my marketing internship as well. I was pulling different clients around the Philadelphia region and went to a photoshoot as well for the clients who accepted. However I’m just curious if you enjoyed more client pulling/account management or social media? Glad you got into something out of your usual comfort zone, thats only how you grow 🙂

It is really impressive to see that you had two internships so far. I agree with the advice you put at the end of your post. I applied to well over 50 internships and did not receive responses from a lot of them. Continuing to apply, interview, and be patient is the best advice!
