I really enjoyed hearing about your experience interning with DMAX Club! It’s awesome that you were able to make a positive impact on Temple students and that you learned about how a nonprofit works. I’ve never worked with one, but it must be rewarding work. I especially liked the point that for mental health content, it has communicated its message with empathy and intention. Thanks for sharing!

It must have been especially cool to work so closely with Temple students and see your work impact your peers.

I also had an internship that focused on a more health and wellbeing topic. I relate a lot to you when you mention the growing appreciation for the health topic(s) that your organization focuses on. What I appreciated too with my experience was how the more content to which I contributed design and creation the more I learned about the actual topic that is being mentioned. Not only was I able to gain experience through the internship, but I was able to learn more about topics regarding wellbeing that I probably would’ve never known about. It’s nice to see how much more we can take out of these experiences aside from what it is meant for!
