This semester I took a class in event planning and we just got done giving presentations on event professionals we interviewed. It was so interesting to see how everyone had such different paths to their current job. Granted this for event planning and not advertising but I think it still applies. Our whole lives have been spent in classes and we are about to enter the working world. The crazy thing is we will be working about three times the amount we have spent in school. That’s a very long time and time to make career swaps if wanted. I am nervous to jump into the quote unquote real world but it’s comforting realizing that whatever job I start out with does not mean that I will be stuck with it for a lifetime. I enjoyed reading your post and wish you luck after your years at Temple.
