Magazine Launch Party!!

We just had our magazine launch party yesterday night for the first magazine at the Sporting Club at The Bellevue. What a success! It was a fairly good turn out, with just over a hundred people. There were drinks, food, and many photos taken! Check it out on their facebook page!! We have already started working on the second issue which will be out in March.

Still no real luck with selling ads for the Sporting Club at the Bellevue. I am targeting local businesses in center city and I have the feeling merchants are weary about putting ad money up for a new magazine they have never seen. The first issue should be out this November! Hopefully then I can sell this ad space–I am still plugging away!

Internship at the Sporting Club at the Bellevue

I am doing my internship at the Sporting Club at the Bellevue. I am primarily doing the ad sales for their new magazine. I never realized how hard it could be to sell an ad! Finally, late last week I received confirmation that the chocolate store in the Bellevue wants to put a half page ad in the second issue of our magazine. I will make 10% of the sale! This week I am going to a few bars/
