The Experiences of Temple Advertising Students
The biggest factor in the success of your internship is you, so get things done and don’t be afraid to network within your agency.
In the beginning of my junior year here at Temple I found myself questioning what I wanted to pursue after college.
I remember my first internship interview. It lasted all of 5 minutes. When I was first applying to internships, I must have applied to 30. I checked Temple Handshake, LinkedIn, Indeed - you name it. A couple stood out to me, and a couple didn't even include the work I'd want to be doing there, or in the future. I first applied for a position as a copywriting intern at a marketing agency in Brynn Mawr, PA. The internship would be completely remote, to take place in Spring 2022. After submitting my resume, a cover letter, and a portfolio along with my application, I was delighted to hear back from the company, saying they wanted to take some time to talk to me.
Life throws obstacles at you and only the stronger survive.
My name is Zoe Kocis and this semester I had the opportunity to work as a Marketing and Public Relations intern at Allied Global Marketing.
As a senior Temple University student, I felt like I was late to the game when I got my first internship during my final semester.
College is tough, but the workforce is a whole different ball game.
Hi! My name is Muyang Morfaw and I am an Advertising major with a double concentration in Account Management and Media Planning. For the semester, I was a Social Media Strategist for the company EPK Media and their client Civilian Magazine. Both companies are located in New York City.
If there’s one thing that stood out to me during my entire college experience, it is how exciting, yet daunting the underlying fear is of the job market.
My name is Eva Schenck, and I am currently working at the Graphics Media Center as Assistant Manager.
Internships have their ups and downs but you will always be able to take something away with you. I currently have an internship as a content creator for a television network and, as we are ending the semester, I can say that it is not what I thought it would…
As a senior advertising major at Temple University, I've spent the past several months at Red Tettemer O’Connell + Partners as an account management intern.
