And now it’s the end.

I’ve been interning at Group Two Advertising since January, and now it’s the end.  It has been a long journey, but it’s been educational, interesting, and helpful.  Educational because of the new things I have learned about social media, interesting because there were many tasks I was asked to do that I was unsure about, and helpful because it taught me about what I want to do in the near future.

Recently, the work load has increased because they are receiving more and more clients, and performing more and more tasks for each client.  So instead of just focusing on research or writing posts for facebook, I’ve been calling prospective clients, keeping checklists up to date for each client, and writing blogs.  Each day is filled with multiple different things that I can work on.  I like having different things to do, that way it doesn’t get too familiar.  Two of my favorite things that I did throughout were research fun articles that I could write posts for, and keep the clients updated on their advertisements progress.

Now that it is the end of my run at Group Two, I look back and realize how fast it went.  Even though Group Two is a small agency, I met some great people who taught me a lot.  It was a great internship to learn more about the social media aspect of advertising.  I wouldn’t change a thing about it.
