Benefits of Working at a Smaller Company

I stumbled upon Propulsion Media Labs at Temple University’s career fair. When I was offered an internship for the summer, I was more than ecstatic to accept. Since starting my internship at the small post-production company, I have done “typical” intern tasks such as filing papers and going on coffee runs. However, the biggest benefit of serving as an interns at a smaller company is all the hands on experience I get. I am allowed to shadow employees with their permission, one employee even taught me the basics of After Effects! I also had the opportunity to pitch social media ideas the company as well as be in a small commercial! The experiences I get at Propulsion Media Labs make me excited to come in to work every time and I cannot wait to learn more!
