Goodbye. Hello?

I am Cara Irizarry and I have been interning at Philly2night.com. Technically, today should be my last day at Philly2night. I have completed my ten weeks and one hundred and fifty hours. I have worked hard all summer long. However, a few weeks ago, the Vice President of the company, Ray Sheehan, approached me about a position at Philly2night. I was ecstatic. This is every intern’s dream!

My experience at Philly2night.com has been so much better than I even expected, and my expectations going in were pretty high. I have always heard good things about the company, and I can honestly report that they are absolutely true. I honestly feel secure going out into the “real” world now, even if the real world is the same world I have been occupying all summer. I have met so many wonderful and inspiring people. I am so thankful.

I have already undergone my training and officially started. It is fantastic! I have moved out of the cubicle that I called home and into an office. I have my own office!

Philly2night.com has been a wonderful internship, and now, at least so far, it has been a wonderful job. I am so excited for the future!
