Google Promoting All Kinds of Love!

Valentine’s Day is all about love. It doesn’t matter if you spent it with a significant other, with family, with friends, or with your pet. LOVE is everywhere.

For those of you who’ve spent this past Valentine’s Day with your significant other, you might have missed Google’s 1 minute animation doodle about a boy trying to show his affection for a girl.

How does he get into her heart? By sharing a common interest.

What I love about this ad is its diversity. At the very end of the clip, you will see 6 pictures that represents love. It is through a bi-racial couple, an astronaut & alien couple,  fairy tale couple, gay couple, animal couple, and even a cookie & milk couple!

What is most interesting and probably controversial is Google’s support for gay couples/gay marriage.

Google’s CEO, Sergey Brin, stated in California’s past election, ” We hope that California voters will vote no on Proposition 8 – we should not eliminate anyone’s fundamental rights, whatever their sexuality, to marry the person they love.”

Google sends a message to the public that love really does come from all different walks of life!
