Growing my Career in Realtime
My name is Tyler Correa and I’m a senior at Temple University. I’m studying Advertising with a concentration in Brand Research and Strategy in the Lew Klein College of Media and Communication. This is my final semester at Temple University and I’ve had the opportunity to work at Realtime Media (RTM) in Conshohocken for almost a year as a marketing strategy intern.
Realtime Media is a business-to-business (B2B) company specialized in helping major brands create engagement with their customers and support their marketing goals using digital promotions such as contests and sweepstakes. Promotions like these also help brands acquire data and insights about their audiences.
Previously, I have gotten to explore skills such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google Ads, Copywriting, and Web Design in a close and friendly team. This semester, I took more of a leading role in Product Management and Business Development.
Part of my responsibilities included helping the marketing and sales team draft important materials and copy. This presented a really rewarding challenge and allowed me to work directly on an incredibly important proposal. In addition, these projects were a learning experience for the entire team and helped us collectively define the services and products offered by Realtime Media much more precisely.
The experiences I’ve had at Realtime Media have made me feel much more confident about graduating this December. I’ve garnered incredibly valuable skills and have been tested by both challenging and rewarding projects.
Great to hear you have learned so much! Congrats on getting your internship extended and hope everything works out!
