Learning that everything truly does happen for a reason

At the beginning of this semester I accepted an internship doing door to door sales with campus special. Though it was a great opportunity, I quickly realized after day 1 how much I hated it and how miserable my summer was going to be if I stuck with it. I quickly looked around and found a graphic design internship with E.I. & Design Group in NorthEast Philadelphia. I couldn’t be more thankful and happy that I risked leaving my original internship for this current one. I am getting much hands on experience with package design, web design, print design, and much more! Not only that, but the company is continuing to grow every week and was just recently offered a deal from this company called Inventionland, based out of Pittsburgh. It’s actually a TV show on the History Channel, and is almost exactly like shark tank. They invest in our company and give us the connections we need to succeed. This deal is currently in the works now but I am super excited for the future of this company, and my possible future here as well!

What I’ve learned most out of this, is that if you aren’t happy doing what you are doing, go with your gut feeling and do what you want to do; regardless of the pay or anything. You will find yourself a much happier person, and in the end everything ends up working out.
