Diccicco Battista Communications – Where Brands Go To Work
I have been given the amazing opportunity to continue my summer-long internship with Diccicco Battista Communications through my fall semester. Diccicco Battista Communications – “DBC” for short – is a full service advertising agency located in Conshohocken, PA, where they provide design, web programming, media and PR services to a bounty of clients ranging from University of Kentucky Healthcare to Applebees.
My internship is centered around graphic design; I work with the project manager and head graphic designer, in addition to various account managers, to create and edit anything from advertisements, direct mail pieces, client proposals, brochures, and greeting cards.
For a majority of the summer months I was mostly put on beginner-type projects; simple edits to already created documents, searching for stock photos, and uploading DBC sample work to their webpage. However, recently I’ve been granted a few projects here and there that allow me to actually do some designing, which is extremely exciting. All in all, I am looking forward to my experience at Diccicco Battista to (hopefully) continue to feel even more integrated and important to the company.
This summer, we had about 6 or 7 interns from schools across the region. Kristi was the first one we asked to continue on throughout the Fall. She’s doing a great job.
