The Photo Shoot

Today was my favorite day of my internship at Paula Hian Designs. While I did have to go in to work on a Saturday, I got to help in styling and running the photo shoot for Paula Hian’s Spring Collection. It was a long and hectic day, but I had a lot of fun. We had also run into a few obstacles like the pouring rain which caused the model to come in sopping wet, our backdrop wasn’t perfectly white, and our hair and make up artist couldn’t make it, but in the end all of the photos came out great. Through out the day, I got to put together a few different looks and see which we wanted to include for the clients and on the site. From this experience, I learned a lot about organization and keeping things orderly. While choosing different outfits, we have to keep all of the tags, style numbers, and photo numbers in order so we knew which photos were for which file. This day was so cool because I feel like it’s always a young girls dream to work in fashion and I felt like I was really part of it! Below you can see some of the looks that we put together and shot.

  1. This sounds awesome! I would work every Saturday if I was doing this type of work. How did you find out about this internship? What do your other days consist of?
