Dynagraphix Media Internship

Hello, my name is Ossinakachukwu Onu, Ossi for short. I am a graduating senior at Temple University and was an intern at an advertising agency known as Dynagraphix Media. It is a small agency located in North East Philadelphia that usually focuses on local businesses, but I was lucky enough to join this agency when it was beginning to expand and go after larger clients. Dynagraphix is small, but it handles many different clients, ranging from funeral homes, political figures, restaurants and even online colleges. Dynagraphix gives quite a few services, which include; branding consultation, printing, web design, and social media. During my time at Dynagraphix, I was able to participate in almost all of the different services the agency provides. I was most excited about talking with a real client on the phone about her brand identity and how we could improve upon it. I also learned the importance of hard work while I was interning. My boss, Charles Dixon, pretty much ran the entire business on his own. He has spent many long nights in the office trying to complete projects on schedule. It was really inspiring to see someone so passionate and dedicated to do the work he loves to do. I hope I will be able to emulate that passion into my work in my future career. Though I do enjoy the smallness of the company, I also want to see how larger agencies conduct business. That way I can see which one would be best for me. All in all, this was a wonderful experience and I am excited to see how far Dynagraphix Media will go after its transition is completed.
