Pioneering Care: Enhancing Healthcare with Amedea Pharma

Hello Everyone! My Name is Genevieve Palo, and I am a Senior at Temple University. I am an Advertising major with a concentration in Brand Strategy and Research. Starting my internship at Amedea Pharma, a dynamic pharmaceutical startup, has been nothing short of amazing. It has truly been a transformative experience, as I’ve gained insights into the world of marketing. The company is ahead of the curve with its ANCORA App launch aiming to transform care by blending technology with healthcare solutions.

My role as a Marketing Intern at Amedea Pharma includes developing and executing outreach plans to other Pharma companies and leaders, creating marketing and outreach strategies, and collecting research findings. The recent months have been quite eventful, with the launch of the 2024 Medical Affairs Innovation Olympics—an event highlighting Amedea’s dedication to providing exceptional patient-centered care services. With the help of engaging social media campaigns via Linkedin and joint marketing outreach, business achieved a 5% rise in customer engagement.

This internship has greatly influenced my career goals by solidifying my passion for helping others and making a difference in the field of Pharma sales and marketing. I’ve learned a great deal from the respected founder and CEO of Amedea Pharma, Tim Mikhelashvil. Tim’s expertise and strategic vision have created a foundation in steering our teams initiatives; his leadership approach combines intelligence and warmth which makes him an outstanding mentor and a key player in advancements. The 2024 Medical Affairs Innovation Olympics, led by Tim, showcases his passion and dedication to improve patient outcomes and provide healthcare quality in Medical Affairs. Tim’s commitment to improving patient care and promoting teamwork sets him apart as a leader in the industry, and a source of inspiration that goes beyond the office environment. It’s been a privilege to be guided by someone who showcases extreme dedication, hard work, integrity, and honesty in the realm of pharmaceutical advancements.

Looking back at my time during the internship program, I’ve gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about the Pharma field and Amedea has helped me step closer to reaching my career ambitions and goals in Pharmaceutical Marketing. The internship helped me sharpen my marketing abilities, especially when it comes to understanding Medical Affairs market patterns and creating campaigns driven by strategy. Furthermore, the connections and professional network I’ve established with fellow interns and industry experts, are valuable assets as I progress in my career journey.

For interns: I suggest fully engaging in the experience by seeking guidance from mentors and actively participating in projects that resonate with your interests—it is within these challenges and opportunities that personal development and knowledge expand significantly.
