Sebago x Stash Collection Launch + Photo Exhibition

Earlier this month we put together a launch party with the shoe company Sebago to release their latest collaborative shoe collection. Sebago teamed up with NYC graffitti legend Stash to put together a new footwear collection. In addition to the footwear, we celebrated with DJ Smoke LES spinning music, while presenting the very first exhibition of Stash’s photo work in our upstairs event space. Stash, himself, was in attendance! The event’s beverages were sponsored by Heineken. I was lucky enough to be tasked with helping to get the word out about the event and responding to any questions about the event such as if we would be checking ids at the door, what time the event would end, would we be selling the shoes while the event was going on etc., as well as having to be responsible for assisting with the event set up and then later crowd control at the door by the end of the event.

This was our in-house flyer that was designed to promote the event. The background which was used is a workshop wall from the Sebago factory in the Dominican Republic.

Overall the event was a huge success, and Stash has to be one of the most down to earth artists/designers to ever hold an event in our store. Literally, EVERYthing was getting signed by STASH, iPhones without a case, cameras (including mine), pocketknifes and of course, the new Sebagos and their boxes. To see three companies come together to put together an amazing event is always a site to behold, while being a part of it stays with you forever.
