La Vie Grand Marnier!

It looks good enough to frame.

I saw a TV spot for Grand Marnier about a month ago and I was going to post it, but I couldn’t remember the product. What I like about it is that it’s very much like my style of drawing (a cross between retro cartoons and pulp art). I love the contrast and the sharp lines. It wasn’t until I went digging through a stack of borrowed Rolling Stones that I found this back cover. It looks good enough to frame.

Here’s the TV spot.

  1. I think this campaign is fabulous as it is sets itself apart from all other “liquor” campaigns currently out there. Very well done.

  2. I also like ads that could become art – it makes it more appealing to the consumer as well.

I remember looking through Travel magazine and coming across an Amtrak ad that was illustrated. It was like this: https://tinyurl.com/2fsfnq7

The illustrated look really lends a classy look to the brand.
