Marketing Director for Atlantic City Fashion Week
For the past month, I have been the Marketing Director for ACFW! I am leading their marketing team and helping them rebrand their image. This entails me and my team creating content for their social media platforms, translating their data analytics, building brand exposure, and collecting media during their fashion events.
Just last week I stayed at the Showboat hotel where they held their summer fashion week to collect behind-the-scenes content for their media profiles, as well as make sure the event runs smoothly. From 8 am to 10 pm every day I was running all around the hotel helping connect models with designers, getting content for their hair and makeup teams, organizing line up, and collecting footage from the actual event.
Overall I really enjoyed being there as it was a new experience being behind the scenes from the last time I was there as a model. However, one thing that this experience has taught me is to pace myself when it comes to the work that is required of me. I often take on a lot of tasks at once and don’t realize it until I’m burnt out. Regardless if I love what I’m doing or not, creating a healthy balance of work and rest is important in every aspect of life. I’m going to try and create a more organized schedule of the tasks required of me instead of trying to do it all at once and see if there’s a difference.
