Philadelphia Magazine Party with Carson Kressley

This semester, I interned with I-g Creative.  In the beginning of the internship, one of the most exciting thing I got to do was go to a magazine party with Carson Kressley…. well not with him, but he was there!

To be completely honest, I was very scared because this was my first BIG event.  I was supposed to go to the Philadelphia Magazine Cover Party and take photos.  After, I had to write about my experience at the party.  Other than that, I did not have any solid information about what I was supposed to do.

When I arrived, I received a media pass from Cashman & Associates.  I was just so overwhelmed and jolly just by wearing the media pass.  I was so ready to be awesome at my job.  Little did I know, the press was all over the place and at my 5’2″ height, I could not see anyone, nor could I take any pictures.  About 10-20 minutes into the “red-carpet” walk, I got the hang of it and I started to shove people and took photos.

Overall, it was an amazing experience.  I have always been a fan of Carson Kressley and to see him in person was truly an honor.  Although I did not get to interview him, I was able to see the process of how everything happens and I was so thankful.
