With the Super Bowl drawing in millions of viewers, Hyundai Genesis was able to leverage their brand in a funny and clever way. They used comedian Kevin Hart to draw focus to a key piece of technology – the Car Finder feature, engage viewers with humor, and surprise and attract potential buyers with the features and technology their cars now offer.
I do think this brand was successful because I was interested in learning more about the car and the Car Finder feature after watching the commercial. I immediately went online and read about the new Genesis, and even discussed and shared the commercial with friends. Even though I will most likely not buy this car, I was engaged and took additional steps to educate myself about it. If I am doing this, so are millions of others…and engagement is certainly the way to “drive” sales.
