Factory PR Internship in NYC!

This semester, I received an opportunity to intern at Factory PR in NYC.  As an advertising major here at Temple University, I went into this internship knowing very little about PR.  Through this internship, I am learning more ins and outs about the PR business and I am starting to enjoy my time here.  Although it is a tough business (YES! NYC is all about being fast paced) but I so far love it and is thinking about PR as my future career!

My initial thought going into this internship was ‘I want to get to know fashion industry more.’  After I graduate, I am hoping to land a job in fashion industry and I was hoping this would lead me one step closer to my dream.  During fashion week, I was able to help out with Lelia Shams’s fashion show.  I got to work closely with the models and help them get dressed for the fashion show.  Although it was not as glamorous as I thought it would be, I loved every moment of it.
