Interning at Temple
During the fall semester, I have been interning for the Department of Kinesiology in the College of Public Health here at Temple. I help manage and run the social media of the department. I build and curate content and the creative behind it. I study the target audience and use this knowledge to better our content.
One of my bigger projects this semester has been building a social media campaign to advertise the subject code name of the physical activity courses. The courses are widely popular across the entire University, not just the Kinesiology students. This tasked me with finding out a way to reach a much larger audience in an appropriate manner.
This internship has helped me discover my love for working on social media and social media advertising. I really hope to go into something related to social media when I graduate this spring!

It seems like it has been a great semester interning for the Department of Kinesiology in the College of Public Health! I originally was a Public Health Major and recently declared a Public Health Minor, so I’m sure the work you’ve done this semester would be very interesting to me. It seems as though you have been doing a great job, especially with the code name campaign. I’m also glad you have found that you love doing social media and social media advertising!
