My name is Elizabeth Moore.  I am currently a senior at Temple University majoring in Advertising with a track in Account Management.  I got a great internship/opportunity to work at a production company called ShootersINC. in Philadelphia at the Curtis Center (between 6th and 7th on Walnut).  It has been my second week here and I absolutely love it.  I’ve been spending a lot of my time in the Sales/Marketing department by conducting sales research and assisting the sales team whenever they need it.  I intern Monday and Fridays from 9-5 and try to constantly stay busy and on top of the daily tasks.

The daily tasks consist of:

-Assure finish and edit suites are ready for clients – straighten up and stocked fully after lunch and end of day.
-Check rooms nightly to see if we need to add boxes of tissues, pends, Purell, magazines, etc.
-Return tapes to library
-Assure kitchen is organized, fulled stocked, and clean
-Check in with Machine Room to see if help is needed
-Assist with lunch order – passing out and collecting menus, setting up lunch upon arrival
-Mail – sorting and delivering mail

Every time I come into ShootersINC. it is a new experience and I am always eager and looking forward to a new duty.  I love meeting new people and am highly adaptable.  Staying organized is key, especially in a department such as this.  Having great communication skills is also a huge help when it comes to meeting people and getting to know them better.  Although it has only been my second week here I feel as though I have learned a great deal and am looking forward to learning a lot more about this company and how they operate.  This will definitely be an experience I will take with me in the advertising world.
