Philly Style Magazine

My first day at Philly Style was not exactly what I expected. My supervisors were super serious and put me to work in the back room. Although I would have loved to get to know everyone on the first day, the pressure of getting my assignments done in a timely, organized fashion excited me. It was also cool that I started before a lot of the other interns because I feel like I learned how everything works in the office before them. Every time my supervisor wanted something mailed/filed I had to teach the new interns how to do it. I think that made me one of the favorites. And by favorites I don’t mean I got special treatment, I mean when they asked someone to do something fast it was usually me. I still haven’t really gotten a chance to get to know the people i worked with because they keep the office very quiet but I did learn a lot of valuable lessons in the advertising industry.
