How did it use the event to leverage the brand
The Audi R8 used the event to place a commercial about the new high speed Audi showing an old man driving the car and since he was going at a high speed it brought back the memory of him in a space ship when he was younger.
Do you think this brand was successful? Why or why not?
I did think this brand was successful because it compared the speed of a car and space ship in a way that many can resonate with. As we get older we hold on to the best memories and the things that mean the most to us in our lives, so to the old man the car is somewhat sentimental, bringing him back to his younger days in space.
