What to do?

I am a copywriter at Temple, but I am not sure where that is going to take me. Don’t get me wrong I love advertising, I really do, but I don’t really see myself at an agency, although I would be open to taking a job if one offered. My internship is at the BQ Golf Academy in Conshohocken and no it’s not an agency. My job is to manage all of the social networking sites as well as help create ideas and build advertisement concepts. I am so grateful that I was able to use what I learned at Temple and put it to use in the real world.

One thing about advertising is that there are really not any rules. Every teacher I talk to tells me to think outside the box. When you think you have a great idea, make it even better. The best part is that there is no right or wrong way. That’s why I have such a strong interest in advertising. That is why I think my internship at the BQ Golf Academy has been helping for me to figure out what I want to do. It is not your traditional advertising internship and I have made so many connections through this experience.

I am going to be graduating in less than a month. I have so many emotions. I am excited to move on to the next chapter of my life, sad to be moving on, and I am nervous because I don’t know exactly what the next chapter of my life will consist of. I do know that whatever it is I will be ready because Temple University and my internship at the BQ Golf Academy has prepared me for life after college.
